Hello and welcome! I am an abstract artist based in a small town on the outskirts of Yosemite National Park. A far cry from where I received my degree in textile design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. The beauty of nature and emotions, along with my love of textiles and designs are woven together in all of my paintings. I am drawn to painting soft and textured pieces as well as bright and bold abstracts, with the occasional floral and fauna piece. Creating is my passion and it is a delicate balance between intention and impulse. It fills me with purpose and allows me to translate my feelings and dreams in a way words cannot. My hope is that my art gives the viewer a moment of beauty, a moment of joy, and a moment of rest in this frenetic world.
